Roofline Sprinkler System Installation in Nichols Canyon, CA

For this wildfire defense project in Nichols Canyon, we combined a Class A Fire rated torchdown roof replacement with a fully custom-engineered roofline sprinkler system, built around a dedicated 1,100-gallon water cistern tank, to give the home an independent water supply and stronger overall wildfire protection.

We began with a full torchdown roof installation, then added steel gutter guards to block debris buildup and ember entry at the roofline. From there, we poured a custom-built concrete platform to securely house the cistern tank on-site and installed a complete roofline sprinkler system engineered specifically for this property, part of our active wildfire protection solutions for Los Angeles homeowners in high fire risk zones.

The system is fully automated and app-controlled, allowing the homeowner to activate it remotely from their smartphone. It ties directly into the municipal water supply, with a submersible pump inside the cistern providing a redundant backup source, ensuring continued water supply and pressure even if municipal water pressure drops during a nearby wildfire or structure fire.
